Peter Bunting in a bottle

Believed to be the first candidate this election campaign to have broadcast a personal television advertisement, People’s National Party (PNP) candidate for Central Manchester Peter Bunting looks to have done it again. Bottles of water labelled ‘Peter B is for Me!’ could also make him the first candidate to attempt this tactic. The bottles were handed out to members of the public in Mandeville, Manchester by dancers on a campaign float during Nomination Day yesterday.

This just shows how much Peter wants to win the central Manchester seat. From the looks of it, this man is spending big cash to convince these people. He might just be handing out much of it too but at the end of the day, it is up to the electorate (many of whom are illiterate) to make the choice and hopefully it will be the right one come August 27.

Desperation desperation? When it is not chickens it is big breed goats. The PNP has had 18 years to impress but this is what Bunting has to turn to. Watch this seat if the PNP loses it then it will point to a JLP victory at the polls.
Peter ‘No more Mr.Nice Guy’ Bunting is certainly trying to lock down central Manchester. However I think the people of Central Manchester are tired of having get water in bottles. They want the water problem fixed and water reliably available in their pipes.

I think this is one of the ways politician must work in order to win a seat to represent people. Put on more pressure Sally!!!!!!!!! But keep it going Peter.

The last person the people of Jamaica want in power is someone who wants to be in power. Yes, it’s cynical, but the truth is that we have the politicians we deserve in Jamaica, we get mealy-mouthed careers men like Peter Bunting who care only about being elected, not about doing what is right and take decisions about what is right for Jamaica and not for their party.
If the good people in Jamaica won’t stand up for Jamaica. The bad won’t stand down.

THANKS 4 de wata Peter B. But Sally naw gi wi nuh bottle water once every five year, si a gi wi pipe water everyday a wi life. I will drink yu wata, watch yu ads, eat yu food, wear yu clothes but Stop Light Sally is my choice. She has been with us through the thick and thin. She cried with us. She eat with us. She lived with us. And absolutely no money can ever overcome that type of dedication. It was the same Peter B who after he fooled the people of Clarendon (defeated Hugh Shearer) left them only after two years as their MP.

Mr. Bunting must be very desperate, tv ad with Sally now bottled water, what is his real motive. I bid to say that this man is a power hungry individual who will stop at nothing to become MP, people of central Manchester be careful you might end up with a bad taste in your mouths upon drinking that Bunting water come August 27th.

Peter as a former resident of Central Manchester, bottled water will not be enough ,the residence need running water in their pipes.

Will the peole of Central Manchester sell their souls for a bottle of water?What does Mr. Peter Bunting think of the people of Central Manchester?Does he believe or think the people of Central Manchester are licki licki? This gimmick is so pathetic, it is a big joke.As a matter of fact, knowing Manchesterians, they most likely will take umbrage to this ploy and see it as an affront, Mr. Bunting as” facety and fresh”.I guess one can market any crap these days including, Mr. ……..!Central Manchesterians,you are very erudite and independent people,vote wisely.Ms. Sally Porteous is a Mandeviller,she is extremely cognizant of the needs of Mandeville in particular and Central Manchester in genreral.Mr. Bunting is only interested in becoming the Minister of Finance.Consequently is undivided and dedicated attention will not be with Central Manchesterians while Ms. Porteous resides in the parish. Undoubtedly,this will be another notch in his belt, while using Central Manchesterians to this end, if the PNP are victorious.Indeed,this behavior was exhibited in Clarendon.Central Manchesterians do not need a bottle of water, with Mr. Buntings face on it.Most Manchesterians have their tanks either on their roofs or in their backyards.What Central Manchesterians are in need of is a sophisticated water system which constantly and permanently delivers water to their beautiful homes as opposed to air coming out of the pipes, which interestingly they are assessed for.The ego driven Bunting is interested in locking down Mandeville and giving the residents water. It reeks of Marie Antoinette’s “Let Them Eat Cake “.Eighteen and a half years of the PNP and such an act on the part of Mr. Bunting suggest that they do not have anything to offer and also delineates that he does not know Manchesterians.Interestingly,PNP intellectuals will classify it as the marketing or the selling of Peter Bunting but in all honesty it is sheer stupidity suggesting that Mr. Bunting’s handlers are out of touch with Manchester.Manchesterians,seize the time and elect Sally.

On the face of it one could look at this as a kool ad.However we should also remember that this is an election and therefore his opponent Sally Porteous could turn this PR stunt as a nightmare for him.
Sally could simply say I’m sorry my opponent is using the water crisis in Mandeville nicely packaged in a bottle for political gain which shows the neglect of 18 yrs rule with a PNP candidate for this constituency.As your candidate I am proposing to have piped water in your home without my photograph all over your pipes.
Bunting tried similar strategies with that Shearer seat in Clarendon after which he abandoned that constituency.I do hope the people of Mandeville don’t get hoodwinked by a man who only wants power not people representation.The people are not for sale!!!!!!!!!

When we all needed water he was not there. Now it is election time he want to hand us water with his face on it. My question to him is simple. Where were you when we were beggin? Election times brings election bribes. I say no to Peter and his water now!
