Police, soldiers poll votes today

MEMBERS OF the Jamaica Constabulary Force, the Jamaica Defence Force, and Election Day workers, will cast their votes today for the Local Government Elections, ahead of the rest of the Jamaican electorate on Thursday.

The Electoral Office of Jamaica yesterday published a list of the polling stations islandwide for those who will be voting today.

The police will vote at the Port Maria Courthouse, St. Mary; the Port Antonio Courthouse, Portland; Morant Bay police station, St. Thomas; St. Ann's Bay Police Station, St. Ann; Falmouth Police Station, Trelawny; Montego Bay Police Station, St. James; Lucea Police Station, Hanover; Savanna-la-Mar Police Station, Westmoreland; Mandeville Police Station, Manchester; Black River Police Station, St. Elizabeth; May Pen Police Station, Clarendon; Jamaica Police Academy, St. Catherine; St. Catherine South Police Station, Portmore; Constant Spring Police Station, St. Andrew; Mobile Reserve, St. Andrew South Eastern; Police Officers' Club, Hope Road; Half-way Tree Police Station, St. Andrew; Rockfort Police Station, Eastern Kingston; East Street Recreation room, Kingston; Hunt's Bay Police Station, St. Andrew, and Denham Town Police Station, Western Kingston.

Military personnel will vote at Up-Park Camp, Kingston; the Port Maria Courthouse, St. Mary; the Jamaica Defence Force post at Whitehouse, Montego Bay, and 3JNR Foster Barracks, Manchester.
