Another Prime Minister's bodyguard sought for car theft
Published: Saturday | August 11, 2007
A second member of the Prime Minister's security detail is under investigation for car theft.
However, the police have not been able to find the bodyguard who is a woman.
High-ranking sources say the bodyguard has not turned up for work since late July.
Reports reaching The Gleaner are that the police are undertaking several measures aimed at finding her.
This latest development follows news that another of the Prime Minister's bodyguards, Corporal Randolph Mullings, was arrestedby the St. Thomas police on July 22, for allegedly stealing a motor car.
Corporal Mullings is also facing charges of tendering false documents.
He and three other persons, including his aunt, were granted bail when they appeared in the Yallahs Resident Magistrate's Court more than a week ago, to answer charges laid against them.
